Nice hotel with great wi-fi, a fantastic fitness center, and a cute bar/lounge area. On my first stay, the staff recommended a local delivery which I still remember. I highly recommend it and am coming back for Christmas.

The room was redone in a timely manner which made for a nice atmosphere the Riverboat Bar's manager had great drink knowledge and a lively personality that made our nights enjoyable.

I had a pleasant stay with a spacious whirlpool suite and fantastic views. The comfortable bed made me feel relaxed, and the breakfast was delicious—especially the eggs Benedict! I’d definitely go back again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Dubuque as I found the nearby coffee shops and wonderful breweries all within walking distance, making it perfect for my weekend city strolls, and the beautiful E. B. Lyons Nature Center is just a short trip away for those who love a touch of nature in their explorations.

our stay at hotel julien was fantastic! the staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the room was exceptionally clean, well-equipped with luxurious amenities, and we loved the awesome whirlpool bath. the bartender even made our evening special with great service!

Great time with friends! We loved the big rooms and the friendly staff. We had fun exploring the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium and the Grand Harbor Resort & Waterpark, both just a short walk away. The quiet rooms were a bonus. Coffee machines and free parking!

We spent a couple nights here and loved the location! The vibe is super cozy and inviting, with a fun historic feel. The staff was amazing and super helpful. Had breakfast in the bar area, which was solid. Just wish the pool wasn’t freezing—felt like a fridge! But the hot tub made up for it. Totally recommend!
